What can not be imported into Turkey?
- Sharp tools, firearms, cold steel, biological weapons.
- Any kind of toxic and radioactive substances.
- Narcotics and psychotropic drugs.
- Military ammunition.
- Counterfeit banknotes of the world.
- Antique items.
- Pornographic and counterfeit products.
This list contains items that are strictly prohibited for transportation to the resort country.
What can be imported into Turkey, but in limited quantities?
- Musical instruments – no more than 3 items and provided that they are all of different types.
- Perfumes (perfume, eau de toilette) – no more than 750 ml. (5 vials maximum, each of which must be opened so that it is clear that they are not subject to sale).
- Medicines that do not contain narcotic substances. For the rest of the medicines that a person uses as prescribed by a doctor, it is important to have a supporting document with you.
- Many citizens are wondering: “How many cigarettes can be imported into Turkey?” Tobacco products – no more than 300 pieces of cigarettes, but alcohol can be imported into Turkey a maximum of 5 liters (1 liter – 5 bottles / 0.7 liters – 7 bottles).
