Rest assured, it is also depreciating. It happens to everyone, just at different speeds. When a currency loses value, the losses are borne by everyone who keeps their savings in it, including every reader of these lines.

Against the backdrop of new waves of coronavirus, traditional currencies and securities have ceased to be a reliable haven for capital. The banking system as a whole is showing signs of another crisis – I don’t even know which one. Steep bank turns have been familiar to us since 1997, when the savings of many people turned into multi-colored tinsel. Then there was 2008. And here it is again.

Due to the coronavirus crisis and financial instability, the risk that your money will turn into candy wrappers with portraits of historical figures remains constant. Investors are left to look for stronger assets such as gold, but even this is constantly changing value, competing in volatility with cryptocurrencies. But gold still needs to be preserved – it is inconvenient to keep it under the pillow, and it is unsafe. But no one will put an apartment in your pocket and take it away – what could be more reliable?

The most important thing is that such real estate not only preserves your capital, but also multiplies it. Housing in Antalya and Istanbul shows a stable annual growth of 18-22% since 2012. Even during the pandemic, it showed steady growth, slowing down most recently due to the devaluation of the lira. But it won’t be for long. Growth will continue soon. This is the opinion not only of me, but of all analysts and experts.
