It is worth noting that when returning funds, there is an important point – the minimum amount of purchases of commodity items with an interest rate of 18% is about 120 lira, when shopping for products with 8% – about 110 lira.

To get tax free, you will need to pick up receipts for purchased items / items at points of sale. Before making purchases, you must warn sellers of your intention to return the money. They, in turn, can provide a form to fill out.

If the store only gives a check, then this document will need to be filled out at the customs post. Documents issued by sellers must be kept until arriving at the airport of the Republic of Turkey and contacting a specialized return point.
